Rape a Cultural Issue in Brazil

The recent gang rape of a 16-year old girl by more than 30 men in Brazil, has sparked protests and outrage by groups who demand that more be done to combat a culture of rape in Brazil.  Read to find out why critics believe that a new women’s protection unit established by the government is not nearly enough:
