Rio Esporte Arte Brings Three New Murals to Rio

Rio Esporte Arte (Rio Sport Art) brought five murals to Rio de Janeiro during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.  Well the organization is back to make the Cidade Maravilhosa even more vibrant with three more murals that will soon cover the facades of the hospitals of the National Cancer Institute (INCA).  Read on for details of Rio Esporte Arte’s upcoming project (which is expected to utilize 500 spray cans and more than 200 litres of paint):

Rio Mural Depicts the Beauty of Sisterhood

Tomorrow, November 20th, is Black Consciousness Day, and it is on this day that Brazilian Street Artist Panmela Castro will unveil a three-story high mural that beautifully reflects the sisterhood of shared pain.  Read on for more on the mural (and where you can view in in-person), which Castro calls “Dororidade.”
