CCBB Opens Basquiat Art Exhibit Today

Today, October 12th, the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil (Bank of Brazil Cultural Center) will open an exhibition featuring more than 80 artistic pieces created by artist, Jean-Michel Basquiat.  Before his untimely death in 1988, Basquiat went from homelessness to ‘art-stardom’ in a matter of a few years.  Read on for more on the life and work of Basquiat and details of the exhibition!
