Sky Airline Seeks to Offer Direct Flights from Chile to Brazil

In August, Norwegian Air was authorized to begin operating direct flights from Europe to Brazil, which are expected to start in January of 2019.  Recently Brazil’s National Aviation Agency (ANAC) received a request from Sky Airline to authorize flights from Chile to Brazil.  Sky Airline is the third low-cost airline to make such a request since Norwegian Air’s recent authorization.  Read on for more:

The Queermuseum Reopens In Rio’s Parque Lage

Queermuseu (Queermuseum), Brazil’s largest queer art exhibition, has reopened in Rio’s Parque Lago after protests shut the exhibition down nearly one year ago. Queermuseum: Cartographies of Difference in Brazilian Art, which will run through September 16, continues to operate at the center of debates on freedom of expression, censorship, and the criminalization of art in Brazil:
